Haléco’s team now proposes a new weekly rendezvous to learn more about the technical features of the products we offer.

As an environment and safety expert, at the beginning of every month, Haléco will provide you with essential information on a range of topics that are likely to arouse your curiosity.
Today, we’re going to give you tips on how to choose your retention container in the best possible way.
Why should you use a retention container?
Retention has many advantages:
- It helps keep your workplace clean and safe
- It prevents pollution of the natural habitat
- It prevents legal sanctions
What criteria is used to make the right choice?
The type of liquid to be stored is decisive. The container must be waterproof and must resist the physical and chemical actions of the fluids it may contain (acids, inflammable products).
Based on the storage location, the container should also have other specific properties (be resistant to corrosion, shocks, UV).
Retention volume is also important: it is adapted to the volume of liquid stored pursuant to regulatory requirements in effect and/or to address the needs of voluntary environmental actions. Haléco proposes a wide range of retention containers.
Container ergonomics. Different heights and widths of container exist, tailored to your workspace and/or to your handling equipment.
