Ecogestes Méditerranée (Mediterranean Eco-Actions) and Echo Gestes Voile de Neptune (Voile de Neptune Eco-Actions), the two partner associations, focus on increasing leisure sailors/boaters’ awareness about protecting natural maritime resources. Their ambassadors reach out to sea professionals and users to democratize the eco-responsible actions that should be adopted and so that everyone can fully benefit from the sea whilst protecting its fauna and flora.
In addition to these actions, Haléco has developed an offer, specially-designed for port area requirements.
This selection, which comprises absorbents, retention containers, safety cabinets and hydrocarbon dispersants, is grouped together in a theme-based catalogue for maritime and port sector professionals.
Marinas can, for example, equip themselves with the anti-pollution kit designed specifically for sea users. This kit – ref. PLKV5 – comprising hydrocarbon-absorbent pads, gloves and a waste bag, means that leisure sailors can retrieve hydrocarbon discharges from bilge water and ,as such, do not pollute the sea.
