By becoming a fully-fledged player in the maritime and waterway sector, we also place great value on initiating awareness actions for the General Public. As such, we have become a partner of Campagnes Ecogestes Méditerranée (Mediterranean Eco-Actions Campaign).
Their awareness and education approach for leisure sailors/boaters and users of the sea is totally in line with our values and convictions.
Our 2011 innovation bears witness to this. We have developed a an absorbent kit designed for leisure sailors (PLKV5). This kit comprises all you need to take rapid and effective action if ever there is accidental spillage of pollutants in an aquatic environment. It is perfect for absorbing hydrocarbon or oil seepage in boat bilges.
Through this partnership, we wish to help promote the use of more ecological and eco-designed products.
We managed to do this successfully with our professional customers, by providing them with optimal advice, technical information and recommendations for all our product ranges. Up until a few years ago, the use of absorbents and retention containers in professional environments, was not at all widespread.
Today, it is quite the contrary, and many businesses have adopted this type of product.
This illustrates the general interest and heightened awareness of each of us to initiate actions for protecting the environment.
