Germs are mainly transmitted by our hands!

Haléco advises you to apply the following 4 steps to reduce the spread of germs in your business:

1- Pre-work protection
Applying cream prior to working protects the skin from contaminating agents in the workplace and reduces skin contact with external agents; subsequent washing is easier. It also means you can use less aggressive hand-cleaning products.

2- Cleaning
Washing your hands is vital for preventing dermatitis, the second cause of occupational illness. By using cleaning products tailored to every environment or activity, you keep your hands clean and you eliminate dirt and other irritants, and your skin remains healthy and is protected.
This step is crucial in best hand-hygiene practice. As well as getting rid of all the visible dirt, washing your hands also removes most of the bacteria and viruses that are present on the skin.

3- Drying
This is important when you have washed your hands and ensures they remain hydrated. Good hygiene practices recommend that hands should be dried with a one-use paper towel or an electrical hand dryer.

4-  Disinfecting
Disinfecting hands is a highly-efficient way to limit the number of bacteria on hands that are obviously clean, when it is not easy to have access to running water and soap. The disinfectant should be placed outside the toilets/wash area, for example near workstations, reception areas, cafés, public places, etc.

Let’s end with a few figures:
